Apprenticeships

Both apprenticeships are offered in hairdressing salons where learners are employed and provided with a good standard of practical training.


Intermediate Apprenticeship (Level 2)

This qualification usually takes up to 2 years to complete, and covers all areas of hairdressing within a range of mandatory and optional units. For full details of these units please visit the HABIA and City and Guilds websites.


Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3)

This qualification is suitable for learners who have already acheived a Level 2 qualification in hairdressing. This qualification usually takes up to 18 months to acheive and covers a wide and interesting range of mandatory and optional units. In order to complete a full apprenticeship learners are required to complete the full apprenticeship framework.
